In recent years, product media as an advertising channel have taken up more and more space in the market, alongside traditional channels. And in fact, it turns out to be one of the cheapest forms of marketing, according to Global Advertising Specialty Impressions study 2019. A cap has a display frequency of 3000. This means that if the cap costs 30 kroner with a logo, then the contact cost will be 0.01 kroner. These are numbers few advertising channels can compete with.


The survey also shows that respondents under the age of 55 prefer product media over all other forms of advertising. A survey conducted by the Swedish Trade Association for profile and advertising products shows that 88 percent remember who gave them an advertising product after 12 months. The same survey shows that 32 percent use an advertising product every day, and that 60 percent use one every week or more often. In the same survey from 2019, 30 percent answer that they are positive about product media. In comparison, only cinema advertising scores higher than product media, with its 32 percent.
