Goal 17: Partnerships for the goals

Goal 17 is about strengthening the means of implementation and renewing global partnerships to underpin sustainable development.

To succeeed with the sustainability goals, new and strong partnerships are needed. Governments, business and civil society must work together to achieve sustainable development. The sustainability goals will function as a common, global direction and prioritized efforts over the next 10 years. Experience from the millennium development goals shows that this type of targeted effort works.
